Another benefit of membership is that you can join our band of volunteers, we are always looking for more help. There is a wide range of jobs that need to be done, such as track-laying and maintenance, recording the archives, restoring coaches and wagons, building maintenance, station and shop staff for open days, administration, guards and drivers and so on. Whilst some of the work is fairly skilled, most needs little more than a willingness to work in an idyllic spot in the middle of the Suffolk countryside surrounded by nostalgic railwayana!
