Collectors of the special limited edition coal wagons commissioned by Middy Trading Company (the fund-raising arm of the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway Museum) will be eager to learn that the eighth wagon in the series is now available.
As before, the wagon has been specially produced by Dapol Ltd for the Middy Trading Company. The livery is based on that of a 4-plank coal wagon owned by WILLIAM H. BOOTH, coal merchant and factor, of IPSWICH, Suffolk, who had premises at Princes Street, Ipswich. Booth later had a coal depot at Ipswich Lower Yard, and supplied coal to stations in the Ipswich and Mid-Suffolk area from 1909 until the late 1920s.
Livery is Red Oxide, with matt black end irons.
