The trackbed walk and picnic area give you an ideal opportunity to experience the peace and quiet of the Suffolk countryside.

We are trying to recreate the typical sleepy country station atmosphere of the 1930s - 1950s. You won't find trains thundering through the station, indeed there are days when there are no trains at all! But we think you will enjoy the peace and tranquility of the surroundings and the feeling of timelessness that we all associate with this bygone age, that was childhood for so many of us and our parents.
Included in the attractions already at Brockford Station are:
Original Middy buildings from Wilby, Brockford, Haughley and Mendlesham, all fully restored.
Various Great Eastern coaches and wagons plus other suitable rolling stock.
A purpose-built museum building (named after the legendary railway photographer, Dr. Ian Allen), houses displays of photos, artefacts, models and other memorabilia as well as a spacious, well-appointed, cafe and a well-stocked gift shop.
