Our  Summer 2026 Programme ended with the Rail & Road Gala on 30th and 31st August. Watch this space for the 2027 programme bookings.

Tickets for Santa Specials are available through this booking page, but will not be available at the Booking Office.

Tickets for Santa Specials are now available and must be booked in advance through this web site and will not be available at the ticket office on the day.

Please note: during the current hot weather we will open at 10.30am and close at 4pm.  The first train will leave at 11am and the last train will leave at 3pm.

Santa Specials Tickets

This year’s Santa Specials are running on the following dates in December: 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th and 21st.  You can buy them by selecting the Santa Specials 2026 button below.

The categories of tickets are:

  • Shared Compartment Tickets:
    For groups of 2-4 persons.  Your group will share a compartment with one or more other groups.
  • Dedicated Compartment Tickets:
    For groups of 5-8 persons.  Your group will have a dedicated compartment dedicated.  There are multiple compartments per carriage.
  • Large Group Tickets:
    For groups of 9-16 persons in the dedicated large Compartment.  No dogs are allowed in this compartment.
  • Special Tickets (for wheelchair Users and Family/Friends):
    Wheelchair accessible access is in the Guards Van; this can carry the wheelchair user and one additional person, the rest of the party will be in an adjacent, but separate, compartment.  Once at North Pole Halt, the party can meet Santa together.

Tickets cost £16 per person. There is no discount available for children, concessions or carers.  Children under 1 year old travel free and will not receive a present.
