MEET THE MIDDY AT MODEL RAILWAY SHOWS
The Middy has a presence at many of the local model railway shows in order to
1. promote and spread information and knowledge about the Museum and Railway; and
2. bring in some extra funds to help with maintenance and development / restoration projects.
As such we hand out leaflets and sell items marked ‘Middy’ etc., our own DVDs about the Middy, and our Middy exclusive limited edition wagons. We also offer second hand railway/ modelling items (00 and N gauge) books, videos and DVDs (mostly donated by supporters), and offer Classix/ Oxford diecast or the other similar stuff.
A list of the 2026 shows we are attending will be published early February.
A note to MSLR members: More volunteers always needed to operate our stand. Free entry to all shows (and sometimes free food)
