‘May’ for the May bank holiday

Peckett 0-4-0 saddle tank loco ‘May’ will be the duty loco for the May bank holiday. Apart from having an eponimous name for the weekend the 110 year old locomotive really looks the part as can be seen from these pictures from the Easter Steam Up. Trains will be running from 11.00 both Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th May to the full length of our extended railway to the new destination Aspall Halt.

All the Middy attractions, Museum, Tea Room Preservation Shed visits and real ale bar will be open and visitors can ride the trains as often as they like during the day.
