Railbus month at The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway

During Sunday openings in June, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, we are running a diesel railbus service. The old Middy never had a single diesel loco of any sort running on its rails. Could the more modern and economic mode of transport have saved the line from closing?
Maybe not, but it should be an interesting experience to ride the extended MSLR to our new destination station, Aspall Halt. Aspall Halt is still under construction, but visitors will be able to alight to admire the delightful Suffolk countryside as served by the old railway and maybe think what might have been.
