The bad news is that we will be in lockdown for the month of November, but the good news is that, all things remaining equal, restrictions will be lifted on 2nd December, so we can be open for the Santa Specials.
Of course, like the rest of the country, we will be watching the next Government pronouncements on the Covid-19 emergency and the effect it might have on our plans, but we have already taken all the precautionary measures necessary and have been awarded ‘WE’RE GOOD TO GO’ status.
This means we have a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain our cleaning regime and social distancing plan. Our carriages have been compartmentalised and walkway routes have been devised for entering and exiting the station site and trains to protect visitors by social distancing and with sanitising points.
We are constantly reviewing the situation and, if or how any changes might affect the running of Santa Specials. Please watch this web site for updates.
