Good News at the Middy Tea Room

On 28th September the Middy Tea Room was awarded a 5-star rating for food hygiene. Not only has the quality of the Tea Room management been formally recognised, but the opening hours are being extended.

From 15th October the Tea room will be open 9.00 – 14.00 on Saturdays and Sundays for brunch. The menu will include cooked breakfast, waffles, pancakes and many other wonderful options. All details will be regularly updated on the Facebook page, Merls Catering at the Middy Tea Room.

The Tea Room is also open to the public 10.00  – 14.00 on volunteer days Wednesdays and Saturdays, serving breakfast rolls, large or small cooked breakfast and toasted panini, but please be advised that for safety reasons there can be no admittance to any other parts of the site on these days.

Plus, although the summer steaming programme has now finished the bar will be open on Friday evenings until late October and when the bar is open so too is the Tea Room from 18.00 – 21.00.
