Middy at the Suffolk Show 31st May/1st April

For the second year running the Middy will be making an appearance at the Suffolk Show. The MSLR exhibit is part of the Visitor Economy Network Initiative/West Suffolk College display at stand 760 and will feature a brief history of the old railway and the new projects in hand since the Museum opened in1991.

The centre piece will be our Dennis Mace flat bed truck which was refurbished by Middy volunteers a few years ago. Although stationary during the show the Dennis gives a clear demonstration of the quality of work carried out at Brockford.

Attending the show means a great deal of preparation in itself but being able to create awareness of the Railway at the beginning of the summer season is to good an opportunity to pass up.
