TWAO Line Extension Approval
Following on from the submission of our Transport and Works Act Order, on 1st August 2024, we’re delighted to announce that, on Friday 21st February 2025, our application has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport.

The Order provides statutory authority for the Company to maintain and operate the railway authorised by separate planning permissions, including the level crossing over the public footpath. It also requires the Company to provide, maintain and operate, at the level crossing, such protective equipment as the Office of Rail and Road requires.
