VE Day and War Years to VJ Day?

As readers will know we have regretfully had to postpone the VE Day and War Years pageants due to the current crisis. But we are hopeful that the situation will have improved sufficiently by the summer to enable the VE Day and Middy in the War Years to move to the VJ celebration weekend 15th and 16th August.

We are actively discussing the move with all our re-enactors and exhibitors and are confident that the show could go on at this time, subject as always to the guidance from the Government and Public Health England.

We had a great show planned for this May (see the Middy in the War years page for details) and we are extremely disappointed that it has not been possible to carry it out, however with a following wind and the skill and dedication of the NHS to see us through, it can take place just a few months later.
