2315 arrives for Easter Gala

The first of our two extra locos for the Easter Steam Gala arrived on Tuesday 1st April. The 1951 Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST ‘Lady Ingrid’ joins older and larger sibling “Swordfish”, a 1941 Andrew Barclay 0-6-0ST which is already on site and was our Santa Special loco. ‘Lady Ingrid’ joins us from the Spa Valley Railway and will be with us for the summer season and, it is hoped, will become a resident at the Middy for the foreseeable future.
