GER 14’s first visit to Aspall Halt

Friday 20th March saw the first visit of the Middy’s new 6-wheeler coach G.E.R. no.14 of 1889 to Aspall Halt  for gauging trials in advance of the Easter weekend opening.

As the picture shows the team was very pleased with the result. Easter weekend visitors will be able to enjoy rides in this historic carriage to the Aspall Halt end of the line and return, a journey now of some 20 – 25 minutes. A real Suffolk steam railway experience.
