More Ticketing News after 19th July: walk-in or pre-book
At last signs of normality as Mid Suffolk Light Railway visitors will once again be able to turn up and buy their ticket(s) at the gate booking office. However we will also be retaining our pre-booking system via the website which has been a great success. So now there’s a choice and those who prefer to organise their visit in advance can do so via the Book Tickets page of this web site.
We will also be re-instating ticketing arrangements as follows:-
Season Tickets
Season tickets and all concessions including volunteers, life members and local residents are re-instated with effect from Sunday 25th July 2021. Anyone who has a season ticket issued in 2019 will be able to ‘roll’ their tickets over to the end of our standard 2021 programme, 12th September. These historical season tickets will also be accepted at our Country Gala for this year only, they cannot be used for our Santa Specials. Please bring your 2019 season ticket with you next time you attend the railway as proof of previous entry. There will be no season tickets issued for the remainder of 2021.
Residents passes are re-instated and are valid up to 12th September 2021. It is not necessary to issue new passes, please bring your 2019/20 pass with you when you visit the railway and show to a member of staff at the ticket office. You will only be charged the entry price as stated on your residents letter.
Returning Visitors
With effect from 1st August 2021, we are pleased to offer for the rest of the standard 2021 programme of events, a reduced entry price for returning visitors. If you have already visited us in 2021 please bring your e-ticket to the ticket office as proof of previous entry and you will be entitled to a 20% discounted entry price. This offer is not available to pre-book in advance.
