Steam Railway days up to 18th July
Despite the extension to coronavirus restrictions the Middy will be open every Sunday as we are showing on our What’s On page.
For the time being and for all events up to 18th July openings will have to be pre-booked and visitors must buy their tickets online at the Book Tickets page of the website, but visitors can be reassured that we have our our proper ‘Good to Go’ accreditation and the site and carriages are sanitised to required standards.
Steam Railway Days at the Middy will, of course, feature steam train rides in genuine Victorian 4-wheel coaches and visitors will be able to have as many trips as they like, subject to the social distancing rules currently in place. The Museum will also be open together with the refreshment room and the souvenir shop. Visitors will also be able to see the progress at Dovebrook where the new footbridge over the brook to the picnic area is now complete and operational. It is also possible to see the recent the additional track installed earlier this year as part of the extension project, and further work is expected soon.
The Middy is looking forward to seeing the railway busy with visitors again after the extraordinary last few months. Adults £10.00, children under 16 £5.00, under 5s free.
