‘Swordfish’ our Santa Special and New Year’s Day loco arrived at Brockford on Wednesday 4th December.
The 1941 built engine looks remarkably modern compared to the other Andrew Barclay we have hosted recently – ‘Caledonia Works’,- but she is already 83 years old. Nonetheless the Operations and MPD teams are expecting great things of her and she is looking well at home in the shed at Brockford already.
