Whole lot of shuntin’ goin’ on

As part of the plan to add value for Middy visitors, we will be staging additional shunting demonstrations on all of our open days for the rest of the season. These will usually take place at the Dovebrook end of the line and normally involve Wissington as the duty loco coming off the passenger train and moving goods wagons as required for the show (very similar to how it happened on the real Middy). There will also be additional shunting movements at Brockford featuring the award winning Fowler diesel locomotive, ‘Shreddie’, on 24th July  and 21st August.
