Two locos in steam for Easter weekend

Easter weekend at the Middy is looking really interesting with two visiting locos in steam on both days.

The two locos are Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0ST ‘Illingworth’, which performed so superbly on the ‘North Pole Express’ over Christmas and newcomer to the Middy Peckett 0-4-0ST ‘May’.

110 year old ‘May’ is joining us as our duty loco for the first part of the summer programme as ‘Illingworth’ leaves shortly after Easter, but not before featuring in the Driver Experience days just before and just after the Easter weekend. Lots to entertain both families and railfans, including Easter Bunny hunts for the younger visitors and as many rides as you like on our newly extended line to Aspall Halt.
